ADHD Brilliance – The New Model for Adults and Children
In this lecture, Sheila Buchanan, ADHD specialty coach for children and families, will explain how the common understanding of ADHD is being replaced with a new, more promising approach based on recent findings in the fields of neuroscience, brain imaging and research. Formerly considered a childhood disorder, ADHD is now recognized as a difference in brain wiring that affects children, adolescents, adults and seniors in many areas, including focusing and managing aspects of their daily lives. Sheila will share her personal journey with ADHD and offer a bright, rarely discussed perspective that will shine a light on the gifts of ADHD and how they can be uncovered and utilized to create a joyful, successful, thriving life at any age.
